About the Event:
Headstart Bootcamp Series
From Idea to IPO. Everything a first generation entrepreneur should know while starting a business in India.

Session 1: Idea + Incorporation + Understanding Taxes
Its not easy to start a new business, especially when you are doing it for the very first time. This and the next 5 Sessions of Startup Saturday are meant exclusively for first generation aspiring entrepreneurs. Though we'll have some good stuff for existing entrepreneurs too.

In this session you will find the answers to all your questions about getting your business up and running.
Sure you have an idea, but have you done your research?
What are the questions you need to answer before investing yourself into your idea?
What kind of structure to choose depending upon your business?
What can you legally do to minimize your taxes?
How can you register your company all by yourself with 2000 INR?

We have Navin Kumar from and CA Anand Jangid, Infosys to engage in a healthy debate on the choices that entrepreneurs can make. The contrarian perspectives have been brought to provide maximum value to you and give you an opportunity to evaluate the odds.
Ask them anything. From "How much does it cost for...?" to "How can I set up a shop in USA?"
Special thanks to CA/CS Saurabh Jain, our fellow volunteer at Startup Saturday Bangalore to document all the technicalities of this session.

On the demo front we have 2 fantastic startups: GoVisually, HashPlug
