Social CRM specialist Get Satisfaction recently conducted a study to understand why customers or prospects follow brands online.Below are some of the key observations from the study
- Around 40% of Facebook, MySpace and Twitter users from the study said they followed brands to get access to discounts and special deals.
- Many consumers will follow a brand if they are current customers.
- Creating interesting, entertaining content online is another great way for brands to earn followers and fans on social services.
